Margaret Jean Richardson, 93, of Advance, passed away October 23, 2026, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, MO. She was born on January 10, 1933, in Advance, the daughter of Harrison and Stella Green Wilfong.
Margaret was a devoted homemaker and had also worked as a cook in a nursing home for a few years. She was a member of Dongola Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and was an animal lover.
Margaret and J. Paul Harris were united in marriage on November 5, 1951, in Clay County, Arkansas and he proceeded her in death on November 27, 1976. She later married Gar Arthur Richardson on September 18, 1978, and he proceed her in death on July 25, 2016.
Survivors include: a daughter, Carol (Paul) Koenen of Imperial, MO, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Billy Jo Harris and Paul Harris, a sister, Nillie James, four brothers, Orville Wilfong, Clinton Wilfong, Gerald Wilfong, and Kenneth Wilfong.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, MO. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Dongola Cemetery in Dongola, MO.
