Jimmie Lynn Hale, 85, of Advance, passed away October 6, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 30, 1941, in Eminence, MO, the son of Walter Lee and Pansey Best Hale.
Jimmie worked for 28 years in maintenance for Purolator in Dexter. He worshiped at the Apostolic Promise Church in Cape Girardeau.
Jimmie was known as a truly kind and good man. He enjoyed his golf cart and John Deere tractors. He was a person who liked to tinker, build, and create.
Jimmie and Donna Sue Wheelis were united in marriage on July 30, 1965, at Bloomfield and she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Donna Hale, a son, David (Tina) Hale of Advance, adopted daughter, Roxanne Gammons of Bell City, three grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Santie of Malden, Michelle (Eli) Maupin of Olmstead, IL, and Breanna Hale of Advance, five great-grandchildren, Aadyn Maupin, Devon Maupin, Logan Maupin, AJ Maupin, and Bristol Santie, four brothers, Cecil Hale of Advance, Leroy Hale of Advance, Bill Hale of Advance, and Paul Hale of Bloomsdale, and two sisters, Bonnie Schatte of Advance and Sandra McKitrick of Livermore, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Louise Hale Seago.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Timothy Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
