Reba F. Spence Strayhorn passed from this life and entered Heaven on September 21, 2026. Reba was born on October 30, 1939, to Maxine and Jesse Spence.
She married Harrell L. Strayhorn Sr. on August 15, 1958.
Reba is survived by their son, Harrell Jr. of Washington State and her daughter, Diana Lawson of Advance, 2 Great step Grandsons, Charles Lawson III / Patty of Harrison Arkansas and Daniel Lawson/Janae of Tamms. Illinois. And 5 GG grandchildren, Mattie Anscomb, Rosie and Charlie Lawson of Harrison Arkansas and Brody and Baylee Lawson of Tamms Illinois.
Reba was a life member of the VFW in Cedar Hill, MO. A member of St. Mark's Chapter #167 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Advance Methodist Church.
She loved to volunteer, she loved to travel, but most of all, she loved her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shriners Hospital in St. Louis or Tunnels to Towers.
Visitation will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, MO, Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A service will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by an Order of Eastern Star service at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026,at 1:00 p.m. at graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Cedar Hill, MO.
