Duane C. Wiggins, 94, of Advance, passed away April 14, 2019 at his home in Advance. He was born February 1, 1925 in Bollinger County, MO, the son of Charles Oscar and Elizabeth Casper Wiggins.
Duane was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. He had been the owner and operator of Wiggins Motor and Mobile Home Company. He was a born again Christian.
Duane and Gonnie Schrader were united in marriage on June 7, 1943 at Piggott, AR. and she preceded him in death on January 24, 1971.
Loving survivors include: two daughters, Deana Jo (Bill) Mason of Advance and Cheryl Ann (Walter) Jones of Sikeston five grandchildren, Tyler (Paige) Ward, Gretchen (Travis) Dirnberger, Laina Morse, Mandy (Johnny) Ford and Ashley (Andrew) Estes and eight great-grandchildren: Bennett, Lucille, Brylee, Meadow, Madison, Drake, Layla and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his parents his wife and two sons, Charles Duane Wiggins and infant Wiggins.
Visitation will be held on Weds. April 17, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Robert Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance with full military rites.
