Doris A. Stevens, 93, of Whitewater, passed away July 1, 2022 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 21, 1929 in Whitewater, the daughter of William Louis and Edith Snider Gloth.
Doris had worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Cape Girardeau for 45 years.
Doris and David W. Stevens were united in marriage in 1949 at Piggott, AR and he preceded her in death in October 2003.
Survivors include: her brother, Harold Gloth of Whitewater two grandchildren, LynAne (Chris) Weaver and Tom Stevens and a great-grandchild, Alexander Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her parents a son, Gary Michael Stevens, seven brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Passover Cemetery in Whitewater.
