Mitchell Lee Froman, Sr. was born on June 11, 1952, to Harry and Grace Froman. He departed this life on November 4, 2025, at the age of 73 years old.
He married Sandra Musgrave on August 16, 1975, and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They had three children, Shelly (Jody) Borders, Mickey (Christy) Froman, and Matthew Froman.
Mitchell graduated from Zalma High School and attended college at Southeast MO State University. He retired from the Greenville R-II School district after teaching history for over 30 years. He was an avid Semo basketball fan and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
He is survived by his wife, his three children, and grandchildren: Jacob Borders, Clayton Froman, Abigail Froman, Nate Borders, and Colby Borders. He is also survived by many of his wifes siblings, their spouses, and many of their children. He is also survived by his brothers children, Cheryl, Donna, and Gary.
Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, and his two brothers, Harry Froman, Jr. and Ronald Froman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 5: 00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel with Darrell Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near McGee.
