Una DeJournett, age 71, of Advance, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025,
surrounded by loved ones. Born on June 15,1954, in Bloomfield, Una was the 9th child born to Alvin
and Gladys DeJournett. Una spent much of her life in the hills near Bell City.
On August 3, 1972, Una married Amos Coplin Jr. Her son Aaron Coplin was born of that union.
Una loved her son, grandchildren: Linli Williford (Bobby Taylor), Logan Holderfield (Dalton), Aadin
Coplin (Evelyn Brockway), Addie Coplin (Marquis Johnson), and great grandchildren: Hadley Williford,
MacKenzie Shelby, Koe Ross, Augustus Coplin. Bonus greats Case Taylor, Jaxxon Johnson, and Casen
Holderfield.
Una worked most of her life in factories in Oran, Advance and Nashville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 infant siblings and one younger sister, Patty Gadberry.
A Memorial Service will be held November 14. Visitation is scheduled for 3:00PM with Service
beginning at 4:00PM. A private burial at Gravel Hill Cemetery at a later date.
