Vickie Lynn Medley, 61, of Advance, passed away October 14, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on December 4, 1963, in Festus, MO, the daughter of James Walter and Lue Ellen Kelton Holman.
Vickie worked at Dexter Wal-Mart for over five years. Later she became an in-home care provider for her mother, father and her two disabled brothers. She attended Faith Apostolic Church in Sturdivant. She enjoyed working puzzles and was known as a good cook. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Loving survivors include: her son, Aaron (Teyrsa) Medley of Poplar Bluff, a daughter, Misty (Wes) Dobson of Advance, five brothers, Rodney Holman of Hurst, TX, Richard Holman of Advance, Cecil Holman of Advance, Neal Holman of Wappapello, and Dale Holman of Advance, and eight grandchildren, Zach, Nathan, Lucy, Bryson, Eliott, Millie, Hannah, and Isaiah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Eddie Holman and a sister, Hope McCullough.
Visitation will be held on Monday October 20, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Dutton officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield.
