Sherry Deanna Brown, 82, of Advance, passed away March 3, 2026, at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born March 29, 1943, in Alton, IL, the daughter of Leland and Pearl Cato Jackson.
Sherry was a homemaker. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her dog, Max. She enjoyed cooking, making wreaths and floral arrangements.
Sherry and Gordon Ashford were united in marriage, and he preceded her in death in 1968. She later married Albert Brown, and he preceded her in death in 2018.
Survivors include: three daughters, Stacie (Tom) Gills of Sedgewickville, Lezlie Lasswell of Advance, and Mendie (Glenn) Noah of Union City, TN, a brother, Kim (Ann) Jackson of Jackson, a sister, Barbara Cummins of Bethalto, IL, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands.
