John Kelly Boland turned 80 years old on June 23, 2025, and passed away peacefully at home on July 8, 2025. He was born in Marmaduke, Arkansas to Joseph Clody Boland and Levera Dena Huffmaster Boland.
John served in the Air Police in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was assigned to guard a B52 Bomber. He retired after working 35 years at MFA in Advance, during those years he made many friends.
John and Judy Wiseman were united in marriage on July 13, 1968, and she survives of the home. Other survivors include: their children, Clayton Kelly Boland of Henryette, OK, Jennifer Erin Boland of Brownwood, MO, and Joshua Adam Boland of Jackson, MO and a sister, Joann Better of Malden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, George Boland and Douglas Alton Boland, and sister, Virginia Boland Willard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will follow at Collins Cemetery in Schlatz, MO, with full Military Honors.
