Jackie Dearle Cook, 81 of Bell City, passed away June 28, 2025, at his home. He was born January 9, 1944, in Parma, MO, the son of Chester and Catherine Putney Cook.
Jackie had worked for Semo Electric Corporation. Jackie's presence was the glue that held our lives together. His tireless work ethic and dedication to his family were truly inspiring. He had a calming presence and nurtured and cared for everyone around him. His generosity and selflessness knew no bounds, and he will be deeply missed. The world has lost a little kindness without him.
Jackie and Bethel Kay Hefner were united in marriage on October 11, 1969, in Advance and survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Bethel Cook, three sons, Carl Cook of Miner, Jarrod Cook of Bell City and Justin Cook of Bell City, a daughter, Jacquelyn Cook of Bell City, a brother, Jimmy Cook of Dexter, a sister, Kay of St. Louis, 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
