Darrell Wayne Vavak, 63 of Advance, passed June 8, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital. He was born August 13, 1961, in Cape Girardeau, Mo, the son of James and Lois Revelle Vavak.
Darrell was a Veteran of the United States National Guard. He also worked a few different places throughout his life, such as a security guard at the Lutheran Home and a salesman at Farrell Mobile Homes in Dexter. Darell loved to hunt arrowheads in his free time.
Survivors Includes: a daughter Holly Grindstaff of Dexter, Mo, a son Robby Murdock of Bonne Terre, a brother, Steve Vavak of Advance, four grandchildren, Courtney Grindstaff, Alexis Hubbard, Kyle Harris, and Chloe Harris, and a great grandchild, Wyatt Hubbard
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm. A burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
