Janet Ann Kennedy Dye, 69, of Advance, passed away April 20, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born July 25, 1952 in Kennett, MO, the daughter of Richard and Annalee McWhirter Kennedy.
Janet had worked as an LPN at the Advance Nursing Center. She later worked at the Paramount Hat factory in Advance. She was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Janet enjoyed spending time quilting.
Survivors include: two son, Daniel Dye of Missouri and Benjamin Dye of Oklahoma three sisters, Joanne Ellison of Advance, Patricia Jeambey of Advance and Caroline Kennedy of Port Richey, Florida and three grandchildren, Benjamin Dye, Joshua Dye and Piper Dye.
She was preceded in death by her parents a son, Shawn Dye a sister, Jeanne Seeton and a brother, Richie Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel.
