Linda Lou Stilts Wiseman, age 86, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026.


Linda was born September 10, 1939, near McGee, Missouri. Her parents were the late Daniel Hartford and Effie Burns Stilts. On July 2, 1957, Linda married Don Wiseman in Hernando, Mississippi. He passed away December 12, 2021.


Linda was a 1957 graduate of Greenville High School and a graduate of Ozark Beauty College in Poplar Bluff. She owned and operated Linda's Beauty Shop for 30 years.


Linda and Don lived and farmed in the Arab area.


Linda was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a 50 plus year member of the Zalma Order of the Eastern Star.


In her free time, Linda was an avid quilt maker. She loved crocheting and all kinds of crafts. She and Don were square dancers and traveled with their friends to many dances and conventions across the United States. Linda's greatest joy was her family. She attended many of their games and activities. Linda was a two-time cancer survivor and loved to watch Cardinal baseball.


Linda was the mother of Terri (Stan) West of Arab, MO and Tim (Annette) Wiseman of Leopold, MO.


Grandmother of Brandon (Hillary) West of Springfield MO, Bridget (Glenn)Epps of Poplar Bluff, Dustin (Whitney) Wiseman of Dexter, Chad (Rinda) Wiseman of Advance, Lance West of Cape Girardeau, Curt (Cindy) Wiseman of McGee, and Wade (Lora) Wiseman of Leopold.


Great grandmother of Reese and Beau West Paige, Seth, and Maddox Epps Lily, Hadley, Vera, Lawson, Kylie, Addie, Ansley, Chloe, Cara, Emmarie, Alayna, Raylon and Tessa Wiseman.


She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents Two sisters: Hazel Stilts Turner and Virginia Hester Mintman Joseph Three brothers: Dale and Doyle Stilts, and twin brother, Lloyd Lee Stilts Sr.


Visitation will be Tuesday, July 7,2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Morgan Funeral Home, Advance MO.


Rev Glenn Epps III will officiate the funeral service on Wednesday, July 8, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, McGee, MO.


Grandsons will proudly serve their grandmother as pallbearers.


The family would like to acknowledge how thankful they are for the wonderful care given to Linda by the Preferred Hospice staff.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the charity of your choice.
