Terry Michael Hawkins, 75, of Zalma, passed away October 27, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born November 6, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Shirley Norman and Glonda Omega Long Hawkins.
Terry had a 22-year career at Arvin Automotive in Dexter. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He attended church at Greenbrier Church and Kinder Chapel. He loved jigsaw puzzles he kept his 1000 puzzles organized in boxes. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known for his gift as a storyteller.
Terry and Andra Sue Isaac were united in marriage on December 12, 1978, at Kinder, she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Andra Hawkins, a son Adam (Heather) Hawkins of Greenbrier, a granddaughter, Taylor Hawkins, two brothers, Keith Hawkins of Dubuque, Iowa and Kevin Hawkins of Advance and two sisters, Donna DeLay of Advance and Debbie Hay of Advance.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Hawkins.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Gary Burns, Rev. Marvin Jones, and Rev. Eric Lemons officiating. Burial will follow at Fagen Cemetery.
