Patricia Gail McKim, 85, of Puxico, passed away August 14, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 17, 1939, in Lenoir, North Carolina, the daughter of Carl Thomas and Ruby Faye Borders Braswell.
For 27 years Pat worked as an administrative assistant in the canteen and retail store at the Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluff, MO. She attended Advance First Church.
Pat was an avid reader and loved James Patterson books. She enjoyed playing dominos and traveling to the beach. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Pat and Robert McKim were united in marriage in March of 2004 at Pollard, AR and he preceded her in death on August 30, 2019.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael (Denise) Dillinger of Zalma and Richard (Robin) Dillinger of Poplar Bluff, three daughters, Cathy Dillinger of Jonesboro, AR, Gina Price of Piggott, AR, and Margo (Mike) Brown of Puxico, a sister, Diane Midyett of Poplar Bluff, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel with Pastor Brad Moore officiating.
