In Loving Memory of Jackson Spencer Bader June 8, 2004 - July 26, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Jackson Spencer Bader, who left us unexpectedly on July 26, 2025, at the age of 21.

Jackson (Jack to those who knew and loved him) was born on June 8, 2004, in Tucson, Arizona, to Sara Long and Michael Bader. From the moment he arrived, he brought joy, light, and an infectious energy that touched everyone around him. Jack was a devoted son, a caring brother, a dedicated teammate, a gifted artist, and a true friend offering comfort, laughter, and warmth to all whose lives he graced.

A proud graduate of Catalina Foothills High School (Class of 2023), Jack was an accomplished athlete and a key member of the varsity basketball team, proudly wearing jersey #35. His passion for sport continued at the University of Arizona, where he was a junior majoring in finance. There, he played intramural basketball and was a valued member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.

Jacks passions were as diverse as they were deep. A creative soul, he expressed himself through architectural sketching, design, and visual arthis sketchbooks filled with imaginative perspectives and thoughtful detail. He also had an enduring love for music, known for his talent as a DJ mixer at a young age, bringing people together through rhythm and sound.

Jack was an avid golfer, hiker, runner, and mountain climber. His enthusiasm for the outdoors was matched only by his commitment to health and wellness pursuing both physical and mental strength with quiet discipline and passion. Nature, for Jack, was a refuge and a source of inspiration.

Jack had a rare ability to make others feel seen, heard, and valued. He listened attentively, laughed wholeheartedly, and loved deeply. His heart was as expansive as his dreams. He stood up for the underdog, defended those who were bullied, and brought kindness to every room he entered. His absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew him but his light will continue to shine in the memories we hold dear.

His compassion extended to animals he fostered dogs and loved horseback riding, always seeking to nurture and care for others, human or not.

Jack is survived by his parents, Sara Long and Michael and Katie Bader his siblings, Olivia Bader-Dimicelli (Sissy), Eva O'Brien, Liam O'Brien, and Gage O'Brien and his beloved nieces, Ella and Nora Dimicelli. He is also survived by his grandparents, Sandra Long, Vern and Linda Hackett Jay and Cynthia Bader.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Jack's honor on September 20, 2025, at 1:00, at Catalina Foothills Church 2150 E. Orange Grove Rd. Tucson, AZ 85718

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paws Without Borders, a 501 (c)(3) dog rescue organization.
