Jason married the love of his life, Tammy on July 28th in 2001. However, love of his life doesnt quite do him justice. It was a friendship, best friends, who built their life around each other. Jason always made sure his love didnt go bored or without. He would take her on drives just to go lookin, or on super-hot dates to any local auction within driving distance. He accompanied her to the bingo halls and slot machines, but most importantly he was present and made sure she smiled every single day. The love Jason has for that woman is and forever will be unwavering.
Without hesitation from the beginning, Jason loved Taylor and Levi as his own. He would tell you today Thats my daughter and thats my son. Jason became a new father in 2004 when he and Tammy delivered their Kipper. One could only think they know what pride looks like, until you see Jason look at Kip. His unquestionable love for them shines in ways one couldnt explain but we can try. He showed it by driving to Taylors at 6 in the morning to wrangle a snake because Blake was already gone, agreeing to it before his feet even hit the floor. He was showing it when he taught Levi how to be a man, by teaching him how to fix the things his family would one day look to him to fix. By showing his Kipper that a man can be strong, and tough but a bigger man walks away.
Jason held many titles like Honey, Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle BoBo, Friend, Boss Man, Wimpy, but none he wore as proudly as Poppa. Hunt, Jax, his little monster Rae-Rae and Mr. Beau-Man, are that Poppas proudest moments. From making silly videos, wrastlin, softball games and rocking them in his chair. To seeing his biggest-little cheerleaders in the grandstands, screaming for their favorite driver Jason was always excited to wear his Poppa hat. Jason was once quoted saying in a job interview Going home and seeing my grandkids when asked what he looks forward to at the end of a workday. Poppa loves each one of you very much.
Jason would and has given the shirt off his back, the sweat off his brow, and the skin off his knuckles to anyone in need. He loved hard and protected his family harder.
Jason leaves this world too soon, but not before his baby Cookie Monster #77 took a well-deserved trip to victory lane. Making Jason William Holman forever our #1.
